International Policy Dynamics was founded by Dr D Arthur. His focus is on policy modelling at a strategic, industry and public policy level. Current research concerns international trade issues and possible amendments to WTO Government Procurement Agreements. He works as an Associate to other consulting firms and carries out independent investigative and business development work in the EU and the US. He maintains an active interest in the film, broadcasting and media industries directly from experience.
His original technical expertise was gained in Mining Engineering (B.Eng) and earth and environmental sciences (MSc in Hydrology for Environmental Management) and then applied these core skills to modelling industrial change, business strategy and market growth issues in the telecoms, transport and space sectors.
His doctorate was gained in business modelling and industry economics of market growth dynamics in mobile telecoms data services. This research was based on a collaborative industrial project concerning Location Based Services and GPS/Galileo for clients in the European GNSS Supervisory Authority.
